Recognizing the potential to transcend mere leaf production, Ambassador Ernest and his family embarked on a mission to craft teas that embody the essence of Kenyan heritage. In 2017, Ernestea Limited secured a license from the Tea Board of Kenya, marking the beginning of a new era in tea craftsmanship.
